Microsoft’s commitment, to extend rich Skype experience across devices, has gone further deeper. Skype For Business (SFB) is being made available to various devices and applications in recent times. Let’s look at such devices and applications added recently to the portfolio.

Polycom Trio

Windows 10

Skype For Business is built on Windows 10 and has Skype for Business fully integrated into the experience, so SFB is always there when you need it. Built in PC, dual 1080p cameras resolution (High definition). Supports 100 simultaneous touch points and 3 simultaneous pens- this is shoulder to shoulder collaboration. It will listen to you and pick the right camera to show you for everyone in the meeting. It also picks up people who are far away. In-app integration with Office

Customers in Windows platform can use in-app integration with Office and Skype for Business. With in-app integration, the user does not need to leave the document to interact via IM, screen sharing, and call them and adding video. It is a very natural and fluid way of working that starts within the app. This is the conversations in context notion that I talked about earlier.

Mobile Devices

Microsoft seems to be very focused in delivering great experiences across platforms (with special focus on browsers and mobile devices).
